House hunting

I feel like im officially an adult now. We're 48 days married and now we're house hunting!

We have just received pre-approval for a home loan and are now frantically scrolling through the pages of the real estate websites to find our dream home.

Our texts to each other consist of no communication other than, "Look at this property I found on www.domain....". {I'm sure you know what i'm talking about!}

The majority of last Saturday was spent running from inspection to inspection {why are all open houses on within the same half hour time frame?!?} and ticking off our mental 'must-haves' list at each one.

I don't think i'm being too picky with my 'must-haves' list? But where do you draw the line?

Should I pass on a beautiful unit, that is almost perfect, based on the fact that I can't fit a lounge AND a dining table in the living room together? Or same goes for a completely renovated unit that has no off street parking for our new car?

Decisions, decisions!

It's still early days yet and we're not giving up until we find that one place that we'll both step into and say "aaaahh... this is it".
