My wedding suppliers

When beginning the daunting task of planning my wedding, I had heard many horror stories of things going wrong at the last minute, and was just waiting for this to happen to me.

But it never did! And I believe this comes down to the fantastic suppliers that I used for my wedding. Every one of them was perfect and helped, in their own special way, to make our wedding day the best day of our lives.

I'd like to introduce you to...

1. Flowers by Lorey
{http://flowersbylorey.com/fbl/}

Lorey was so patient with me during the entire lead up to the wedding. She was always so incredibly positive each time I sent another pinterest photo of what I wanted my bouquet to look like or when I changed my mind. In the end, she produced four absolutely stunning bouquets and perfect button holes for the boys and fathers. I can't even begin to describe how happy I was when I first saw the flowers. Perhaps im biased?

Lorey is so incredibly talented and I would recommend her for all of your floral needs. She is the coolest chick and so great to work with.

2. Iron and Clay Photography {http://www.ironclayphotos.com.au/}

I found Iron and Clay a.k.a Matt, via a google search after trawling through hundreds of photographers' galleries. I booked him quite quickly and then started following him on facebook. Each and every time he posted a new preview album of a wedding he'd done, it more than re-affirmed that I had made a great decision by choosing Matt to be our photographer as every single one of his photos is perfect.

On the day, Matt was so calm and friendly and fit in easily amongst the chaos of getting ready for the wedding. He made the post-ceremony photo shoot with the bridal party as painless as possible and we had a great time with him.

I have only viewed our preview album so far but I have literally looked at these 18 photos about 500 times and I'm so excited to see the rest of the photos. I just love every photo that i've seen so far!

I'm also looking forward to seeing the many individual portrait shots that a slightly tipsy wedding guest insisted Matt take during the reception!

3. niknee.designs
{niknee.designs on facebook}

Nikki from niknee.designs was introduced to me by a friend of mine who was organising her wedding at the same time as me. I loved everything that I saw of Nikki's creations and when she sent me a few sample invitations, I wanted to use every single one of them!

Nikki made all of our wedding stationary, including save the dates, the wedding invitations {including rsvp's} and the name place cards, and happily put up with all of my changes {and there were many}!

Again, she was incredibly patient and so efficient, especially when it turned out that I had given her the wrong postcode and she had to reprint all of my invitation envelopes again, and also when Tom went through all of the names on the invitations and saw how many I had misspelt!

Nikki is honestly the most talented and creative person I know and I want to have a party every weekend so that I can get her to create invitations for me!

4. Sarah Julian - Celebrant {http://www.sarahjulian.com/Home.html}

I don't even know where to start with Sarah. She is honestly the most friendly, bubbly and amazing person I have ever met. She made the whole wedding process so easy and fun!

She wrote a personalised ceremony for us and Tom and I felt that it was just perfect. All of our guests commented afterwards on how great she was.

She is so good at her job and she is the kind of person who you just want to have in your life forever!

5. Sugarart Cakes
{sugarart cakes on facebook}

Sharon from Sugarart Cakes makes the best cakes ever! You only need to browse through her facebook album to see how talented she is with cake designs and I can vouch for how tasty her cakes are as well!

Tom and I had a mars bar mud cake and everyone agreed that it was the best wedding cake ever! Luckily Tom and I saved the top tier of our cake so that we can eat it for months to come, or we may just choose to eat it all in one go!

6. Djays Entertainment
{Djay party entertainment on Facebook}

Jason was so great to deal with in regards to our entertainment. He drove down prior to our wedding to meet with us and chat about what we were looking for during the reception. He had lots of great suggestions and on the night, kept every guest entertained and on their feet dancing the night away. He knows how to get the crowd going!

Jason told us that he had only played at a handful of weddings, but he did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

There were many people who had a hand in making our wedding the perfect day/night that it was, but I wanted to give a special mention to the above suppliers as they really made the whole process so easy and pain free. They are each so great in their chosen fields and I wouldn't change one single thing from our wedding day.
